At Reconnection Tours, our mission is to provide transformative journeys that transcend ordinary travel experiences. We believe in guiding individuals on a path of self-discovery and spiritual awakening, fostering deep connections with cultures, communities, and the natural world.
Our commitment to cultivating connection lies at the heart of everything we do. We strive to create meaningful interactions and foster a sense of unity among our travellers, encouraging them to connect not only with each other but also with the essence of the places they visit.

Through our tours, we aim to inspire a spirit of contribution and service.

We believe in giving back to the communities we encounter, leaving a positive impact wherever we go. By engaging in sustainable practices and supporting local initiatives, we empower both travelers and locals alike to make a difference in the world. Creativity is the lifeblood of our tours. We curate experiences that ignite the imagination and encourage exploration beyond the beaten path. From immersive cultural encounters to off-the-grid adventures, we strive to awaken the creative spark within each traveller, allowing them to see the world with fresh eyes.

Curiosity is our compass. We encourage our travellers to embrace the unknown, to ask questions, and to seek understanding. By nurturing a culture of curiosity, we open doors to new perspectives, expanding minds and hearts along the way. Finally, we are dedicated to unveiling the ancient wonders of the world. Through our tours, we invite travelers to delve into the rich tapestry of history and heritage, to uncover the secrets of civilizations past, and to be in awe of the timeless beauty that surrounds us. At Reconnection Tours, we believe that travel is not just about reaching a destination—it's about embarking on a journey of the soul. We invite you to join us as we explore, discover, and follow the path of Dharma together in the form of travel.

All our tours give 5-10% back to projects that support, health, education and community projects.

It all started in 2015

We still can not believe that it was 8 years ago that we experienced the Earthquake in Nepal. The day is still clear in my mind.  I was in Kathmandu on this day and had to run to safety like millions of other Nepali people and tourists. The impact this experience had on me changed my life and view of the world.Thankfully I was able to continue my journey, although very differently after the earthquake and with Govin's help along with locals and tourists we were involved in many aid missions all across the country. It was during this time I fell in love with the country, the people and most importantly my husband Govinda Bohara. Reconnection Treks was born soon after, in our attempt to bring tourism back to Nepal and educate people on touring with the country with more conscious connection to its culture, people and land.We do our best to support local villages and communities. We look after our workers and ensure they are paid well and the porters never carry more than 15kgs.

In partnership with Karmaflights Organisation, Reconnection Tours supports local grassroots programs that empower and offer pathways to individuals and the local communities in Central and Western regions of Nepal, in the areas
of Education and Health.

We donate 10% of our tours to projects in Nepal.

With a focus on Disability and marginalised communities.

When you book with us, you are supporting community.

Help us build programs that support local people into jobs with consciousness and reignites the connection to nature and source.

Offering Tourists an amazing experience to volunteer, whilst supporting local communities to live healthier lives and inspire one another.

Reach out to Kate to get involved.

We need to raise $50,000AUD by 2026 to set up in Nepal for ongoing programs.

We hope to make this pilot project in Pokhara & Baglung regions and then replicate this in other locations across Nepal.
